Conventional minipigs

Conventional Göttingen minipigs are barrier bred, but transferred to a conventional environment. A specification including individual weight data and a health monitoring report for the conventional environment accompanies the animals when sold, as well as a EU health certificate when exported. Conventional minipigs have limited availability.

Göttingen Minipigs from Relliehausen – conventional (only for German customers and when available)

Health status:	The minipigs are all vaccinated against Mycoplasma.
Growth curve:	The minipigs from Relliehausen may weigh a little more than our minipigs. This is due to a stronger diet.
Genetics:	The genetics of the minipigs from Göttingen are the same as ours. There are the same families behind. We are back up to each others herds agreed upon in the contract in 1992, when we got our animals originating from the nucleus herd, which is the herd today in Göttingen.
Transportation:	We (Ellegaard) will bring the animals directly to your facility.
Collaboration:	We are supervised by The Genetic Institute in Göttingen, and animals in Göttingen and Dalmose are from the same off springs back in 1992.
